I am a compassionate, understanding, and motivational Marriage and Family Therapist Intern who is license eligible practicing in the heart of San Diego, California. I use a variety of theoretical orientations including; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to name a few. I take a client centered approach and enjoy working with all kinds of individuals using strength and family based styles tailored to each individual, couple, or family’s’ needs. From everyday relationship and family stresses to depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, grief and loss, behavioral issues in children, self-harming behaviors, divorce, and career development. I have a passion for working with children and families, and have specialized experience in trauma, grief and loss, divorce care, domestic violence, and health and healing. I enjoy thinking outside the box and being creative in my approach.
