Lindsey Woodburn is a registered psychological assistant with a wide range of experience including working with children on the Autism spectrum, adolescents, inpatient and outpatient group and individual psychotherapy, couple’s counseling and both long-term and short-term individual therapy. Lindsey is trained in dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, family therapy, play therapy, psychodynamic therapies, and both informal and formal psychological assessment. Lindsey’s areas of focus include psychological assessments, child and family therapy, and the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, relational issues, and eating disturbances; however, Lindsey takes a client-centered approach and believes that addressing each person’s unique underlying dynamics and needs is essential to treatment. Although Lindsey is extensively trained and engages in diagnostic clarification, she is passionate about working with each client to understand him/her and his/her needs as a whole and not placing over-emphasis on a diagnosis.Lil
